Developmental Editing

A developmental editor looks at your story on a big picture level. It evaluates and gives feedback on your piece's content and structure. A developmental edit includes an outline of your piece.

Proofreading

A proofreader checks your completed document for basic mechanical correctness of the English language: grammar, spelling, punctuation, typos and consistency.

Ghostwriting

A ghostwriter writes a document under your name and in your voice, with credit to the ghostwriter being negotiable. Ghostwriting may involve extensive interviewing.

Copy Editing

A copy editor checks your writing for the correctness of structure, consistency, tone, and readability as well as the basic edits of grammar, spelling, punctuation and typos.

Editorial Assessment

A editorial assessment checks for character motivations, a sound plot, tension, engaging themes, readability and marketability. It evaluates your story's strengths and weaknesses, and provides a revision plan.

Story Coaching

A story coach provides consistent accountability, a sounding board, suggestions on how to overcome writer's block and advice on storytelling and publishing to help you complete your writing project.
