Developmental Editing

I will look at your story on a big picture level. For non-fiction, I evaluate your piece's content and structure. For fiction, I provide feedback on plot, characters, pacing, dialogue, and consistency.

Copy Editing

During a copy edit, I check your writing for the correctness of sentence structure, consistency, tone, and readability as well as grammar, spelling, punctuation and typos.

Ghostwriting

I will write under your name and in your voice, with credit to the ghostwriter being negotiable. Ghostwriting may involve extensive interviewing.

Story Coaching

As your story coach, I will provide advice on storytelling and publishing, consistent accountability, suggestions on how to overcome writer's block, and be your sounding board to help you complete your writing project.

Editorial Assessment

I will write a report on your characters, plot, themes, readability and the marketability of your book. I will evaluate your story's strengths and weaknesses, and provide a revision plan.

Proofreading

I will check your completed document for basic mechanical correctness of the English language: grammar, spelling, punctuation, typos and consistency.
