About Me

As someone who has earned degrees in both a STEM field at Emory University and a creative writing MFA from Houston Christian University, I am uniquely positioned to provide a range of writing-related services that will ensure the clarity of written language so that your message is transmitted in a concise and polished way. My strengths include polishing written work so that you sound professional and organizing information to ensure the document has a smooth, intuitive flow the reader can follow and comprehend. I am familiar with blogging, copy editing, researching, outlining, critiquing both short and long stories, writing articles, newsletters and poetry. I also offer book coaching for select clients provided the right fit.

I have worked as a book publishing and editing intern with published authors on several projects including copy editing manuscripts, drafting a small group curriculum and creating social media images. I have worked with authors to edit their manuscripts and thesis, I have researched, outlined and written articles on commercial subjects such as coffee production and travel and written a plethora of essays, reflections and analyses of various works at a post collegiate level. I am a published poet with my own poetry chapbook and a handful of poems published in literary magazines. I have also published blogs in online publications.

My interests include editing works of fiction and articles. I also coach authors who are stuck in their creative processes or want additional feedback and offer memoir ghostwriting for those who want to bring their message or story into the world. My interests include books, short stories, creative writing, fiction, young adult novels, women's fiction, memoir, magical realism, self publishing, indie publishing, the Christian faith, nature, science, animals, mythology, horseback riding, journaling, organization, health and wellness, personal development and inspiring young writers. I am primarily interested in working with authors of fiction novels with a completed manuscript seeking to publish.
