The basic Copy Editing Package checks for the correctness of the language rather than the content. I will be checking for structure, tone, readability, consistency, flow, clarity and factual accuracy as well as the basic edits (GSPT). 
 
Keep in mind the price listed is only a base price. Final pricing will vary based on how much work your document needs, number of revisions etc.

The basic Developmental Editing Package does not include making corrections directly on the document. Instead, I will read through your entire piece and give feedback: general (what you did well, recurring issues), content (repetition, rambling, irrelevant content, depth and volume of content), structural (what worked, what didn't work, recommended structure for your goals if any) and a book outline (including an outline of the recommended structure with a chapter list, chapter descriptions and subtopics). 

The Beta Reader Package will check for character motivations, believable plot points, tension and interesting themes. I will make comments on a Word document on what you did well and what could be improved, as well as any questions I may have as a reader. Finally, I will also summarize my thoughts on your piece.

All packages are for any genre with a minimum of 5,000 words and a maximum of 50,000 words. If you have a project longer than 50,000 words, please contact me for a consultation. Either package comes with either 3 social media posts across three platforms of your choice promoting the piece or professional formatting.
 
Professional formatting includes typeface, spacing, chapter, author and book title formatting, adding images and captions, page numbers and a cover page. The cover page is not a replacement for a well-designed book cover. You will walk away with a Word file as well as a PDF file of your work.
